New York, 2023
I fell into skateboarding in 2012 while growing up in northern New Jersey, and have been part of the community ever since. It has brought me to places I have dreamed of visiting, led to friendships and relationships I could only imagine, and has kept me constantly on the go. Skateboarding has taught me to look at everything for what it can be and not what it is.
The first time I picked up a camera was for a freshman year requirement in undergrad, and it changed my life ever since. I ended up receiving my BFA at Pace University, majoring in Photography, learning about the traditional and artistic practices of photography and its history. Since I began pursuing photography full-time, I strive to encompass the environments, events, and personalities that have shaped my life as a skateboarder and the lives of those in the same community. I strive to capture vulnerability and embrace curiosity in my work, showcased through the devotion, commitment, and spontaneity in skateboarding that can be chaotic, yet timeless.
I’m currently based in South Florida and skate for Black Sheep Skateshop out of Charlotte, NC. I am a staff photographer for Skate Jawn Magazine and also work on the media crew for Skatepark of Tampa. I’ve worked with brands like Red Bull, Street League Skateboarding, The Boardr, and others on events ranging from grassroots gatherings to major venues. I am always looking to get involved in the local community, whether it be by shooting photos for Lot 11 Skatepark or collaborating with independent creatives in my area. If you’re working on a project, campaign, or event and need a photographer, feel free to reach out anytime—I’d love to connect!
